This website is run by Pro Home Specialists (ABN 83 853 116 589), a carpentry business servicing Western Sydney and the Hills District. In this policy, “we”, “us” and “our” means Pro Home Specialists.

What we collect

When you request a quote, use the contact form or chat with us on this website, we collect the details you choose to give us. This can include:

• your name, phone number (and a second number if you add one) and email address
• your suburb or address, and the details of the job you need done
• any photos you upload of the job or property

Like most websites, our hosting provider also records basic technical information when you visit, such as your IP address, browser type and the pages you view. This is used to keep the site running and secure.

We do not use advertising or tracking cookies, and we do not run analytics that profile you.

How we use your information

We use your details only to:

• reply to your enquiry and give you a quote
• arrange a site visit and carry out the work
• keep a record of the job for our business and legal obligations

We do not sell or rent your information, and we will not send you marketing without your permission.

Project photos: we may use photos of our completed work on our website, Google Business Profile, social media or other marketing to show the quality of our work. We will always ask your permission before using any photo that could identify you or your property, such as photos showing people, your house number, street, car number plates or the front of your home.

Who we share it with

We use a small number of trusted service providers to run this website and receive your enquiries. They only handle your information to provide their service to us.

Because some of these providers store data outside Australia, your information may be held overseas. We choose reputable providers that use industry-standard security.

We may also share information if the law requires it.

How long we keep it

• Photos you upload through the website are deleted automatically from our website storage after 30 days. The links to them in our notification emails also stop working after 30 days. If we save a photo separately to help with your job (for example, for a quote), we keep it only as long as we need it.
• Enquiry details (name, contact details and job information) are kept for as long as we need them to respond, complete the job and meet our record-keeping obligations.

You can ask us to delete your details at any time (see below). Some records, such as quotes, invoices and job records, may need to be kept for business, tax or legal reasons even after you ask us to delete your information. If so, we keep only what we need and delete the rest.

How we protect it

Your information is sent over an encrypted connection (HTTPS) and stored with providers that restrict access. Photos are only viewable through private links that expire. No system is completely secure, but we take reasonable steps to protect your information from misuse, loss and unauthorised access.

Accessing, correcting or deleting your information

You can ask to see the information we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. Just contact us using the details below and we will respond within a reasonable time. As explained above, some business records may need to be kept for legal or tax reasons.
